Week 4 (Jan 23rd) – Sourdough Starter, Candle Making & Natural DyesStudents learn how to start and maintain a sourdough starter. We’ll make beeswax candles and explore simple natural dyes.

Each Friday in January features a different farmstead activity designed to teach confidence, stewardship, and real-life skills they can apply to homesteading or farming. Think of it as a real-life science lesson! All while learning sustainable farming. RSVP is required. This class is open to students who are not currently enrolled in our Farmstead Micro-School program.
